Overview: (Once trained)
As a Sr. Automation Technician, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and breakdown maintenance on production equipment. These products are mechanical components made to tight tolerances in a high-volume manufacturing capacity. You will gain in-depth product knowledge and maintain high equipment performance and uptime. You will also be responsible for a diverse mixture of activities with a strong emphasis on interacting with automated production machines.
Day To Day:
- Maintain equipment to support high volume manufacturing operations
- Communicate relevant equipment status to associated manufacturing line leads and supervisors
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, determine corrective actions, and communicate with Manufacturing Engineers to resolve issues
- Complete assigned and ad-hoc work orders in Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Participate in process reviews for products as required
- Engage in problem solving & brainstorming, both individually and as part of the team
