Physician - Pediatric Surgery

Schedule: 24-hour call shift (7am-7am), unrestricted

Worksite: Hospital Inpatient Setting, Level 1 Trauma Center

Scope of Work:

  • Perform pediatric general and specialized surgeries on inpatients and outpatients
  • Patient age range: Newborns to early adolescents (20s)
  • Manage both emergent and non-emergent surgical cases
  • Provide solo 24-hour call coverage
  • Active participation in a Level 1 trauma center

Requirements:

  • Active Arizona medical license
  • Active Arizona DEA license
  • Will accept active IMLC (Institutional Membership in the National Matching Service)
  • Board certification in Pediatric Surgery
  • PALS/APLS certification (see definitions below)
  • Current CV
  • 3 professional references
  • Case logs documenting patient encounters for the past 24 months

EMR: Cerner

Compensation:

  • Preferred pay rate: $3,000 for 0 24-hour call shift (includes patient encounters)
  • Holiday pay: 1.5x regular rate
