Job Description

About the Role

As Visual Merchandising Lead you will support, guide and execute visual merchandising and operational processes effectively and efficiently. You will drive sales by creating moments through visual storytelling and merchandising execution that support an enhanced customer experience.

What You’ll Do

  1. Support store leadership in visual and merchandising planning and execution
  2. Implement all aspects of visual presentation consistently according to corporate standards and resources
  3. Update merchandise sets based on product availability and sell through to maintain inspiring presentations
  4. Elevate visual and merchandise presentations in all areas of the store
  5. Maintain proper care of all visual components in a neat, clean and organized work and storage area
  6. Oversee installation, timing, removal or disposal of visual and merchandising initiatives and capital projects in partnership with store leadership
  7. Conduct regular store walks with store leadership focusing on merchandise and visual priorities
  8. Partner with the District Visual Lead to provide feedback and understand company strategies
  9. Follow product protection guidelines to minimize shortage
  10. Assist with onboarding and training new associates
  11. Acknowledge and assist customers in all areas of the store delivering a friendly and easy experience

  9. Other responsibilities as assigned

What Skills You Have

Required

  1. Must be at least 18 years of age or older
  2. Limited travel to support new store openings
  3. Strong verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
  4. Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays

Preferred

  1. Retail or service industry experience

Essential Functions

  2. Ability to satisfactorily complete company training programs.
  3. Ability to comply with dress code requirements.
  4. Basic math and reading skills, legible handwriting, and basic computer operation.
  5. Ability to operate and communicate on multiple frequency devices, handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
  6. Ability to maintain prompt and regular attendance and meet scheduling requirements as set by the company.
  7. Perform work in accordance with the Physical Requirements section.

Physical Requirements

  1. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and occasionally over 50 lbs. with a two person lift.
  2. Ability to climb a ladder, squat, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, twist, reach, lift, grasp, push and pull on a frequent basis.
  3. Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a scheduled shift (at least 8 hours).
  4. Ability to visually verify information and locate and inspect merchandise.
  5. Ability to comply with health and safety standards.
