About Us: Marion County Horizon Center operates group homes for adults with developmental disabilities across southern and central Illinois. Our group homes are known as CILA homes (Community Integrated Living Arrangement) and offer the individuals we serve the opportunity for community living and individual bedrooms. The BCBA assists in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities by developing, coordinating, revising, and monitoring the behavior plans for individuals in CILA homes.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all behavioral services specified in the Behavior Support Plan by following the recommendations made by medical and professional consultants.
  • Assure the delivery of each person’s behavior plan by training and monitoring documentation of the plan and its goals and objectives.
  • Consult with Psychiatrist as needed and whenever psychotropic medications are utilized.
  • Conduct behavioral assessments documenting the ongoing need for behavioral services for each participant.
  • Supervise implementation of the behavior plan, including training of the personal support staff.
  • Monitor progress on at least a monthly basis and more frequently if needed to address issues with the participant's outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst or eligible to sit for the BCBA exam.
  • Must be able to competently complete information through the use of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Google Drive.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and able to pass a state background check.
