Job Description
Union Family Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. In this role, the therapist will deliver high-quality mental health services, focusing on therapeutic interventions that cater to individuals, couples, families, and groups. By utilizing a robust understanding of various therapeutic modalities, the therapist will develop effective treatment plans that address clients' unique needs and challenges, thereby fostering resilience and promoting overall mental wellness.

Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health concerns, utilizing evidence-based assessment tools to formulate comprehensive clinical diagnoses.\n
- Design and implement tailored treatment plans that reflect the specific therapeutic needs and goals of each client.\n
- Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, employing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based strategies.\n
- Provide crisis intervention support to clients facing acute mental health challenges, ensuring timely interventions that promote safety and stabilization.\n
- Maintain meticulous and confidential client records that comply with ethical and legal standards, including detailed progress notes and treatment plans in accordance with HIPAA regulations.\n
- Actively participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, collaborating with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic client care.\n
- Empower clients and their families through education regarding mental health issues, treatment options, and available resources to foster informed decision-making.\n
- Engage in ongoing professional development through training and workshops to continuously update best practices in mental health therapy.\n

Qualifications\n- \n
- Active licensure as a Mental Health Therapist, specifically holding LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW credentials.\n
- A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.\n
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic abilities to understand complex mental health concerns.\n
- A minimum of two years of experience in providing mental health therapy or counseling services in a clinical setting.\n
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to establish therapeutic relationships with clients and collaborations with team members.\n
- A solid work ethic with the ability to manage independent responsibilities alongside being an effective team player.\n
