Who we’re looking for

Toyota’s newest manufacturing facility, Toyota Battery Manufacturing North Carolina (TBMNC), Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Support Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Senior Analyst, OEM Support.

The primary responsibility of this role is building relationships with current and potential customers, production planning for customer lines, ensuring the highest level of customer care, and serving as a window to other TBMNC functions.

Reporting to the OEM Support Manager, the person in this role will support the OEM Support department's objectives detailed below:

What you’ll be doing

  • Developing Production Schedules and volume planning.

  • Tracking and reporting on Toyota’s performance meeting customer orders.

  • Tracking and reporting on activities required to gain customer approval for production.

  • Lead audit activity to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Responsible for tracking data for various purposes such as: price setting, material cost fluctuations and cost reduction activities.

  • Serve as a window to other functions in TBM, including Accounting and Finance, Logistics, Production Control, Quality, and Product Design.

  • Manage product design information and process engineering changes.

  • Ensuring the highest level of Customer Care.

  • After Sales Service.

What you bring

  • Engineering or Business Analytics degree.

  • Customer service-focused mindset, order fulfilment, or production planning for manufacturing experience.

  • Automotive product launch process, APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) and PPAP (Production Part Approval Process).

  • Supplier mindset - understand the culture and needs of our customers.

  • Strong communication & visualization skills.

  • Ability to create and execute strategies.

  • Technical problem-solving ability (PDCA, RC/CM, TBP).

  • Microsoft Office Suite skills.

  • Strong relationship-building skills.

Added bonus if you have

  • Experience with supply chain management.

  • Battery Manufacturing/Sales and Marketing experience.

  • Auto industry experience.

  • Experience as a Liaison between Customer, Manufacturer, and Partner Companies.

  • Hoshin/Business planning and execution.

  • Cost reduction or kaizen project experience.

  • Japanese language skill - ability to read and write in order to make and translate documents.
