ATTENTION: THIS ROLE IS FOR LICENSED MASSAGE THERAPISTS WHO WILL CONSULT FOR APPROXIMATELY 2-3 HOURS PER MONTH (PENDING PROJECTS) IN OUR NYC OFFICE HELPING DESIGN STROKES FOR A ROBOTIC MASSAGE SOLUTION.

Aescape is assembling a panel of prominent industry experts in Massage Therapy , who will advise Aescape on Massage content and other initiatives as we scale. This role is based in NYC.

Aescape is the NY-based lifestyle robotics company redefining self-care.

What You’ll Do

As part of the LMT Feedback Network at Aescape you will:

  1. Partner with producers and engineers and our marketing team to develop massage protocols and help to determine massage concepts, experiences, and collections.
  2. Interact with our system to assist in the editing process, including playback of massage techniques and current protocols.
  3. Help develop new systems to streamline production, including defining language in our production process for faster workflow and collaboration with other LMTs.
  4. Build intuition for our current production tools and help push our system to innovate new techniques.
What You’ll Bring
  1. TACTILE INTELLIGENCE - Keen interest in massage therapy, anatomy, sports medicine or body work with an understanding of how things feel on the body and an ability to articulate movement and understand the multidimensional aspects of the content.
  2. Technical skill - quick read on new systems and an interest in new technology.
  3. High proficiency in massage therapy / anatomy.

  1. Background in kinesiology or interest in technology and robotics.
