Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Product Development Manager to oversee all aspects of production for a subset of accounts in partnership with our design team. The Product Development Manager will ensure products meet quality standards, are completed on time, and adhere to client specifications, supporting Crease Group’s reputation for excellence and seamless production processes.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Production Planning and Management

- Develop and manage production schedules, ensuring all projects are on track and meet deadlines.

- Collaborate with the account management team to align production timelines with client needs and expectations.

- Monitor production costs and budgets, optimizing for efficiency without compromising quality.


2. Quality Control

- Implement Crease’s quality control (QC) guidelines to ensure high standards across all products.

- Coordinate closely with the QC team in China to maintain product integrity, verifying compliance with client specifications and technical details.


3. Vendor and Supplier Relations

- Act as the main point of contact with the production team and other suppliers, with a focus on seamless communication in Mandarin.

- Negotiate favorable terms and lead efforts to resolve any issues related to production timelines, quality, and delivery.

- Ensure all third party suppliers adhere to Crease Group’s SOPs and meet expected quality standards.


4. Process Improvement and Documentation

- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance production efficiency and product quality.

- Document all production processes, maintain detailed production logs, and ensure transparency for clients.

- Work closely with the operations team to integrate best practices in production and quality control across all sites.


5. Team Collaboration and Management

- Collaborate across departments, particularly with the design, development, and account management teams, to align on project scopes and production requirements.

- Provide leadership and guidance to the production and QC teams, ensuring everyone is aligned with Crease’s standards and timelines.

- Foster a proactive approach to problem-solving within the team, ensuring any production issues are promptly addressed.


Qualifications:


- Bachelor’s degree in production management, supply chain, or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience in production management, preferably within the apparel or fashion industry.

- Proven expertise in overseeing end-to-end production processes and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

- Strong understanding of quality control standards and procedures.

- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams across locations.

- Proficiency with project management software and tools (experience with ClickUp is a plus).
