A new and great opportunity for an Emergency Nurse has opened up at a Critical Access facility in Southeastern New Mexico. This is a 50+ bed acute-care hospital with state-of-the-art technology and an amazing team of 400+ healthcare professionals to work with. Not to mention, they are a not for profit facility that has been serving the community for ages. They offer a broad range of medical services from cardiac services, to orthopedic surgeries.

The Emergency Nurse will provide rapid and accurate patient assessments, manage multiple cases simultaneously, and triages according to urgency. They collaborate closely with doctors, technicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and effective patient care.

Responsibilities of Emergency Nurse may vary, but will include;

  • Monitoring each patients vital signs
  • Providing education and support to each family and patient
  • Administering medications, and helping with medical dressings
  • Admitting new patients, and planning and coordinating discharges 

An RN license is required in the state of New Mexico to being considered for the Emergency Nurse opening with this facility as well as previous experience or practice in an acute-care facility (college graduated encouraged to apply). Alignment and knowledge of the facility and department goals being while being part of a non-profit organization is an important factor to know and understand logistics.
