The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proactive approach to case management, possess strong communication skills, and uphold the firm’s commitment to delivering outstanding client service.
Salary: DOE per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage full spectrum of case development from initiation to conclusion in state and federal courts.
- Draft pleadings, manage written discovery, and prepare motions.
- Maintain frequent communication with clients to report case progress and strategize.
- Perform comprehensive legal analysis and case evaluations to guide client decisions.
- Coordinate and collaborate with expert witnesses to bolster case strategies.
- Attend depositions, court hearings, and mediation sessions.
- Prepare comprehensively for trial, including the assembly of case materials and coordination with key witnesses.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
- License to practice law in the state of Texas.
- A minimum of 4 years and up to 7 years of experience in litigation, with proven track records in both state and federal courts.
- Demonstrated capability to proactively manage a significant caseload.
- Strong work ethic, with the ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Exceptional research skills and proficiency in written and oral communication.
- Excellent organization and critical thinking skills to handle complex legal issues.
- Committed to providing exceptional client service and actively contributing to client development and retention.
