As a Senior Manager- Digital Products , you'll lead a team of Product Owners that create and deliver solutions with outcomes that improve our Core Policy Personal Lines, Core Policy Commercial Lines, Billing & Finance, and Claims Products. Your team will bridge Product Management and Engineering by breaking long-term strategy down into an executable roadmap.
Working with your Engineering and Design counterparts, you’ll ensure we maximize our investment in product development by ensuring your team clearly articulates requirements, breaks down work, and orchestrates the product team's activities.
How You Will Make an Impact Market Discovery- Research : Ensure team fully understands the value of discovery work. Conduct continuous discovery and share actionable findings. Assess team gaps in discovery and create training plans.
- Internal opportunities : Coach team on articulating prioritization process to stakeholders.
- Market research : Help team assimilate market research findings.
- Legal and regulatory : Facilitate relationship with legal and compliance teams.
- Market selection : Help team develop and communicate market selection point of view.
- Routes to market : Help team understand chosen routes to market.
- Build, buy, partner : Help team identify options and prepare business cases.
- Value analysis : Coach teams on business case reviews.
- Viability analysis : Coach teams on creating a point of view on viability.
- Product strategy and prioritization : Walk team through prioritization process.
- Planning : Review initiatives and suggest improvements.
- Effort sizing : Broker sizing conversations.
- Sprint planning : Address repeat planning challenges.
- Validation : Ensure team tests assumptions early and often.
- Handoff : Develop collaborative relationships with engineering.
- Tracking : Track outcomes and release progress.
- Release : Develop rollout plans for features.
- Coordination : Maintain collaborative mindset with Design and Development counterparts.
- Performance : Track product outcomes and financial performance.
- Master’s degree in business management or related field and 4 years of direct Product Management experience including 1 year management experience
- Or Bachelor’s degree in business management or related field and 4 years of direct Product Management experience including 1 year management experience
- Or 8 years of direct Product Management experience including 1 year management experience
- Ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team of product owners.
- Expert research skills to conduct primary and secondary market research.
- Expert ability to gather and synthesize large quantities of information.
- Expert strategic thinking skills to develop roadmaps.
- Basic financial accounting skills.
- Clear written communications skills.
- Excellent public speaking skills.
- Strong knowledge and experience with the software development lifecycle.
- Strong experience working in an agile environment.
