Job SummarySpecial Programs Security provides quality leadership, services andsolutions to safeguard people and the environment, secure and protectcompany information and assets as well as enhance operational efficiency forthe Corporation. You will serve as the Special Security Director responsiblefor ensuring successful security programs are in place by implementingprograms for protecting classified and unclassified sensitive information.This position is responsible for supporting Department of Defense (DoD)agencies and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) activities. What You'll Be DoingDirect all aspects of Defense Security Counterintelligence Agency and SecurityAgency (DCSA), Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and SpecialAccess Programs (SAP)Manages security team membersReviews, forecasts, and monitors department budgetsOversee ICD-705 constructionManages 24X7 contractor guard forceEnsures compliance with the National Industrial Security Program (NISP),Intelligence Community Directives (ICD)Expert knowledge with DoD 5205 series SAP Manuals to include JSIGDirects all aspects of security related investigations, training,operations, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with allfederal, state, and local security operations, policies, andprocedures utilizing identified best practices and risk management principlesOversees and maintains COMSEC programWrites and approves Memorandums of Understanding (MOU) with customerslocated on the Colorado Springs campusWrites Co-Use and Joint Use Agreements with government customersWork with support departments to ensure compliance with contract/subcontractsecurity requirementsResponsible for local Insider Threat Program, and pre-publication reviewsOversees the adherences of classified storage, annual classifiedinventory, classified media control, and the visitor control programwithin the secure areasResponsible for self-inspections oversight and compliance.Responsible for the reporting of adverse information to the appropriate CSAsAssists with the implementation, and maintenance of Fire Life Safety,emergency preparedness, and EHS programs to ensure compliance, injuryprevention, and risk mitigationRespond to emergencies that require either an evacuation,shelter-in-building (SIB) order, or lock down

What You Need to be Successful - Special Security DirectorMinimum Requirements:8 or more years of relevant experience with High School Diploma or 5 or moreyears of relevant experience with bachelor's degree from an accredited collegeCurrent TS/SCI with the ability to obtain and maintain SAP accesses. U.S.Citizenship is required to obtain a security clearanceMust be willing and able to provide an after-hours response to alarmsituations if necessaryExperience in Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint,and ExcelExperience with security and safety programsKnowledgeable of the DoDM 5205.07 Volumes 1-4 SAP manuals, Joint SpecialAccess Program (SAP) Implementation Guide (JSIG), NISPOM, and ICDseries manual
