In this position, you will bring your development engineering background to a systems engineering role where you can make a broad impact to engineering projects that are critical to our customers.

Essential Functions:

* Technical point of contact for the customer.
* Brief leadership on technical status.
* Provide guidance and direction to Electrical, Mechanical, Software, and Firmware designers to ensure the success of the design.
* Designing test sets for environmental stress screening (ESS)
* Ensure the system meets requirements as designed by the customer

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
* 7 years experience in electrical, mechanical, or embedded firmware/software engineering detailed design of custom electronic subsystems
* Experience with requirements management, deriving requirements, & creating requirements test verification matrices
* Experience designing test sets for environmental stress screening (ESS)
* Systems Integration and Test experience
* Experience with DOORs or equivalent requirements management tool
* Active Secret Security clearance

Preferred Additional Skills:

* Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, or similar engineering discipline
* Master's degree in systems, electrical, or similar engineering discipline
* Experience developing technical or cost proposals in a defense contracting environment
* Experience with earned value management systems for measuring program performance
* Strong communication and leadership skills
