The Dispensing Pharmacist work assignments involve product verification, maintaining physical stock in automation systems, and ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures.
Some Saturdays may be required.
Provides input into development of standards, policies, and procedures for achieving and maintaining high quality patient care.
Maintains proper control and care of drug supplies and equipment. Follows SOP for out-of-stock notification.
Monitors established quality assurance measurements for the department to meet objectives and regulatory requirements.
Assists in pharmacy end-of-day closing and verifies SOPs have been followed.
Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
Proficient with computers
3+ years of experience in a high-volume community or mail order pharmacy practice environment.
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
