Job Description
LKB Home Improvements is a growing, BBB Accredited residential remodeling company serving La Porte, Porter and surrounding counties. We're hiring two hardworking laborers to join our interior remodeling crew, focused on kitchen and bathroom projects. No experience is required. We'll train the right people.
What you'll do
- Demolition and job-site prep: tearing out cabinets, tile, drywall and flooring
- Haul materials and debris, and load and unload trucks
- Help with framing, drywall, tile, flooring, trim and cabinet installs
- Keep job sites clean, organized and safe
- Protect customers' homes during the work (floor protection, dust control, daily cleanup)
- Learn the trade alongside experienced carpenters
- Reliable: shows up on time, every day
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Able to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet all day
- Respectful in customers' homes
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic hand tools are a plus but not required
- Construction or remodeling experience is a plus but not required
What we offer
- Pay of [$17–$50per hour], depending on experience
- Steady, full-time work
- On-the-job training and a path to carpenter, sales, Bath installation, management [Raises, bonuses,and PTO
