Plano 6 (31066), United States of America, Plano, TexasPrincipal Associate, iOS Developer (Remote- Eligible)Who you are A mobile developer, an individual contributor by trade who has fallen in love with building applications and solving problems in React Native, Swift, Java, and JavaScript.You prefer an intense, energetic environment and working with passionate, top-notch peopleYou execute well with a high degree of individual ownership, but are also adept working as part of a teamResponsibilitiesDevelop iOS client code solutions that deliver on Product Strategy and adhere to established engineering best practices, design guidelines and principlesPartner with Software Engineers, UX/UI, Quality Engineers, Product Owners/Analysts to deliver high performing quality customer experiences that are engaging, purposeful and powerful in their simplicityActively participate in all team agile ceremonies, contributing to ensure that all team commitments are delivered on time and of the highest qualityBe an active advocate of the mobile platform through both internal and external developer communitiesRemain an active learner in all technologies related to mobile development (Swift, Kotlin, 3rd party libraries, etc.)Influence and contribute to group discussions and incorporate feedback/communication from the broader teamConsistently share best practices and improve processes within and across sprint teamsIdentify technical obstacles early and work closely with the team to find creative solutionsReview pull requests and ensure adherence to Swift and other language idioms Capital One is open to hiring a Remote Employee for this opportunityBasic Qualifications:Bachelor''s DegreeAt least 5 years of experience in software engineeringAt least 3 years of experience building iOS applicationsAt least 2 years of experience with Swift Preferred Qualifications: 4+ years of experience building iOS applications3+ years of experience with Swift 1+ years of experience in open source frameworks2+ years of experience with Agile practices1+ years of Progressive Web Apps development experienceAt this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.
