Job Description:

Leading the Annual Operating Plan process

Building top-down capacity planning profile for facilities, labor, and other resources

Assisting Program Business Managers and Business Development with on-contract and forecasted new business spend profiles

Guiding functional managers with departmental resource and expense planning

Reconciling Top Down Capacity Plan to Bottoms up forecast

–arbitrate resource allocation and leveling between competing Program Managers

-develop plans to acquire resources and close on requirement gaps

Develop Risk and Opportunities to plan with actions required to mitigate risks and realize opportunities

Government Cost Accounting and Audit Support Activities

Creating the Annual Interim Billing Rate Package for the government (DCAA/DCMA)

Support and defend to DCAA Scaled proposed Direct and Indirect Billing rates

-This will become more complex when Scaled becomes fully CAS compliant and we must submit a Forward Pricing Rate Proposal package

Prepare annual Incurred Cost Claim and final Indirect Rate package (ICE)

Support annual Incurred Cost Audit with DCAA

Monthly Routine Tasks

Collect and support monthly variance to plan and variance to forecast analyses

Analyze variances and changes to outlook to recommend course corrections/changes to forecast and actions to close

Prepare Management Reviews and update dashboards

Assist Program Business Managers and Business Development team as needed

–develop and refine cost models

-assist with resource loading schedules

-provide analysis and assistance for negotiating resource requirements against staffing and other capacity restrictions

Ad hoc Activities

Support Business Case CFROI for Capex and Other initiatives

Assist Bid and Proposal team with Basis of Estimate and building pricing models

Update Cost Accounting procedures / controls as needed

Assist Financial Controller with updates to Accounting controls and processes as necessary

Participate in any activities requiring complex financial analysis, modeling

Some non-repetitive one-off things in the near term

Reimplementation of ERP system

-participate in build /test of Cost Accounting structure

-assist with implantation and training of new ERP modules (Contract Management, Budgeting/Planning, and Procurement)

-create and buildout/test management dashboards

-create standard reports and templates in the BI module

Assist Controller with development of CAS Disclosure Statement and Cost Accounting policies

Take lead role in supporting DCAA adequacy review of accounting and cost accounting systems and controls
