Job Summary: Portsmouth Regional Hospital is assisting with the recruitment of one of the largest private GI practices in the New England Region for their need of an Advanced GI Physician. With a distinguished team of ten physicians, four Physician Assistants, and four Nurse Practitioners, this team is at the forefront of providing exceptional medical care to the community.
Qualified Candidates:
* Must be board eligible or board certified in their specialty
* If board eligible, must be scheduled for their boards
* New Hampshire licensure or ability to obtain
* Incoming physician will benefit from a dynamic and diverse patient base
* This private practice values the significance of specialization and is seeking a Fellowship-trained physician with expertise in ERCPs and EUSs.
* This position is designed for a physician passionate about establishing a long-term and prosperous career
* Must have excellent interpersonal skills to communicate clearly and concisely with all levels of nursing, physicians and administration

* 220-bed acute care facility with a Level II Trauma Center
* 24/7 full-service ER
* 2 freestanding ERs
* 24/7 dedicated inpatient hospitalist program
* 24/7 dedicated inpatient intensivist program
* Implementing psychiatry residency program in summer 2021 with Tufts University Affiliation
* Internal medicine and family medicine residency programs with Tufts University Affiliation
* 30-bed inpatient psychiatric unit including 16 involuntary beds
