At this Joint Commission Accredited Behavioral Health Hospital, the Behavioral Health Nursing Leader will lead this hospital’s front line efforts. With both inpatient and outpatient treatment, this facility also offers comprehensive patient care in depression, psychosis, addiction and other mental health conditions. Over the past five years, this Hospital has become one of Washington’s top mental health care facilities. 

The Behavioral Chief Nursing Officer will collaborate with hospital leadership to continue to grow this behavioral health hospital service line and build relationships within the community. This will be a partnership with Nursing Supervisors, Managers and other health leaders to expand objectives and strategies within the hospital. The CNO will be supported by amazing team members including experienced tight knit RN’s, therapists and other healthcare staff. This individual will work alongside physicians and nursing leaders to examine standards and spearhead policy changes to ensure optimal care. 

The Behavioral Health Leader will oversee day to day operations of this 115+ bed behavioral hospital including staff development, onboarding, budgets, inventory and department goal setting. This is a close knit team with strong ethics of trust and cooperation. Although this is a fast paced department, the staff stay committed to a passionate, safe, productive and engaged environment. Collaboration can be expected with Case Management, Clinical Specialty Leaders and Community Partners. 


The Chief Nursing Officer will be responsible for the implementation of policies to maintain quality patient care in all aspects. This individual will also be in charge of managing safety initiatives and strong team building skills to work across sectors and unify staff. The CNO will also lead the departmental budgeting process, including development, monitoring operating expenses, and allocating resources for labor and quality improvement initiatives.

A candidate with an active Washington Nursing License, with Behavioral Health Services Management experience in complex, integrated health environments, will surely earn a quick interview.
