Sodexo is seeking a Fulltime Registered Dietitian for Daughters of Israel, a multi-faceted, state-of-the-art Skilled Nursing Facility located in West Orange, NJ. The Dietitian will provide clinical care to residents in long-term skilled care, memory care and short term rehab. This is a salaried position working Monday through Friday, no weekends.  Ideal start date is in mid September 2024.


The successful candidate will:

 

  • provide nutritional care to residents in long-term care, memory care and short term rehab;
  • meet DOH/state/federal and company standards;
  • be an active member of the interdisciplinary care conferences;
  • represent the Food & Nutrition Department as a liaison with the medical and nursing staff; and/or
  • support the food service operation as needed.

What We Offer:

While the budgeted range for the position is posted, Sodexo salary offers are based on a candidate's specific criteria, like experience, skills, education and training.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Basic Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

 

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.  In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire

 

Basic Functional Experience - 1 year work experience in health care including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics + registered dietitian
