Bioinformatics Analyst

A company is looking for a Bioinformatics Analyst to provide advanced bioinformatics support for studies of ophthalmic diseases.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform upstream processing of omics data, including QC, normalization, and exploratory data analysis
Conduct downstream analysis of bulk, single-cell, and spatial transcriptomic data
Analyze proteomics or other data modalities as needed, and integrate multi-modal data

Required Qualifications:

PhD in Computational Biology, Systems Biology, Bioinformatics, Genetics, Genomics, or a related field; or MS with at least 6 years of experience
Experience with single-cell and/or spatial transcriptome QC and analysis using tools like Seurat or Scanpy
Proficiency in bulk RNAseq, proteomic, and/or metabolomic data processing and analysis
Strong facility with R for data exploration and statistical analysis
Experience with high-performance computing (HPC) and job submission systems
