Description

You will become part of a hands-on development team that nurtures engineering excellence and creativity. On the team you will engage with a rewarding variety of responsibilities:- Being the technical lead for advising on system architecture, driving HW system design andimplementation and product development life cycle.- Leading system schematic design, PCB layout and component selection and being thetechnical champion for all design reviews.- Driving detailed HW and silicon validation planning, influence its execution.- Collaborating with wide range of multi-functional teams involved in the product design andmanufacturing process at Apple.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • At least 5 years of relevant proven experience
  • Strong Electrical Engineering fundamentals with experience in prototyping, hardware bring-up, bench instrumentation and validation.
Key Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering is preferred.
  • Experience with audio, wireless and sensor integration
  • Experience with high speed design / signal integrity including validation experience with VNA TDR and familiarity with various data protocols: USB, UART, I2C, SPI, JTAG, SWD
  • Intuitive knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Microcontrollers, power (DC-DC converters, battery and power management), mixed circuits
  • Experience with firmware / embedded systems
  • Product lead experience with wide HW design background, aspires to lead and drive technical initiatives
  • Having a willingness for international travel up to 25% as the need arises

Additional Requirements

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
    Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
