Our client is located in the heart of Washington, where you can enjoy open skies, snow-capped mountains, and the lakes and rivers of the high desert.
Position Summary:
Replacing a long term retiring physician assistant. The newly hired advanced practice provider will join 1 physician and 2 ARNP’s to work in Our client newest Family Medicine state-of-the-art clinic in rural Ephrata, Washington. This area has a highly complex patient population and a high number of geriatric patients so we will only consider candidates with a minimum of five years of family medicine or internal medicine experience, new graduates will not be considered. The new provider will enjoy a 4 day work week and take telephone call approximately every 7 weeks.
Qualifications:
Required:
- 3-5 years of family medicine experience, ultimately continual experience in the same clinic/location with longitudinal care experience preferred.
- Experience with high acuity patients and bilingual in English / Spanish is a large plus.
- A candidate who has had the opportunity to grow a patient panel in a family practice clinic and provide those patients with healthcare over a period of years is required.
- Experience in geriatrics would be excellent.
- Minimum two years experience post Master’s degree under supervision of licensed/certified family medicine and substance professionals.
- Required to maintain active Basic Life Support (CPR) certification.
