Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Commercial Construction Superintendent with a strong background in tenant improvement (TI) projects. The ideal candidate will oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise all on-site construction activities for tenant improvement projects.
Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
Enforce adherence to safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
Review and interpret construction documents, including blueprints, specifications, and schedules.
Monitor project progress, resolve any issues promptly, and ensure quality standards are met.
Maintain effective communication with clients and address concerns or updates as needed.
Conduct regular site meetings to align team members and stakeholders.
Manage resources efficiently, including labor, materials, and equipment.
Prepare and submit daily/weekly reports on project status.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Commercial Construction Superintendent with a focus on tenant improvement projects.
Extensive knowledge of commercial construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Proficiency in project management software and construction scheduling tools.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in construction management or a related field is a plus.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
