Key Responsibilities
- Conduct a broad spectrum of clinical tests across multiple areas, including blood gas, chemistry, coagulation, hematology, and urinalysis
- Ensure timely and accurate results to support patient care across the healthcare system.
- Utilize advanced instrumentation and technology, contributing to a seamless workflow in our cutting-edge, CAP-Accredited Laboratory
Skills & Abilities
- Multitasking ExpertiseEffectively handle high volumes of work in a fast-paced environment.
- Tech-SavvyStrong computer skills to navigate laboratory information systems.
- Customer Service FocusDeliver exceptional service by providing accurate results that are critical to patient care.
- Troubleshooting AbilitiesQuickly and efficiently solve issues related to testing and instrumentation.
Education Requirements
- RequiredBachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Science (BS – MLS)
- PreferredPrevious experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
Certification
- RequiredASCP Certification (or eligibility to obtain within six months of hire).
Work Schedule
- Rotating ShiftsTypical shifts rotate, including weekends and holidays.
- On-Call & Night Shift DifferentialOn-call shifts may be required based on the department’s needs, and a
night shift differential is offered to compensate for late or overnight hours.
