San Francisco CA United States Coatue Management L.L.C. Full time

About Rippling:

Rippling is the first way for businesses to manage their workforce from one, modern system — from payroll and benefits, to employee devices and app management — all built on a single source of truth for employee data.

In just 90-seconds, a company can set up (or disable) an employee’s payroll, health insurance, work computer, and third-party apps, like Gmail, Microsoft Office, and Slack. It’s the only platform that truly unifies every employee system, and automates all of the administrative work.

Rippling is headquartered in San Francisco and has raised over $200M from top-tier investors, including Founders Fund, Greenoaks Capital, Coatue Management, Kleiner Perkins, and YCombinator.

We prioritize candidate safety. Please be aware that all official communication will only be sent from Rippling.com addresses.

About the role:

The product team owns Rippling’s product direction, defining what to build in order to solve customer problems in a way that allows us to succeed as a business. We do this by distilling insights from key stakeholders across the company, user research, product-generated data, and competitive analysis. These insights allow us to prioritize the features that we work on, which we define end-to-end with our design and engineering counterparts, to create a product roadmap. As the features on this roadmap get developed, we partner with the appropriate teams to make sure that they are properly launched and are set up to be successfully sold, serviced, and supported. We iterate on these features using data and customer feedback to make sure that they fulfill and surpass the goals we had when we decided to build them.

As a product leader at Rippling, you will have direct ownership of driving product for a significant segment of Rippling’s business. You will work on projects that impact the highest priorities of our business, all while collaborating cross-functionally with multiple teams and stakeholders. Product leaders influence teams outside of their own organization and deliver results that move the needle at the organizational level and impact company-wide goals.

What you'll do:

  • Take direct ownership of product strategy and execution for a major area of Rippling’s business, driving the product from concept to continuous improvement.
  • Go beyond initial product launches by leading ongoing enhancements across a portfolio of small, medium, and large releases, prioritizing a positive user experience and product efficiency.
  • Partner collaboratively across departments, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, ensuring alignment and a cohesive approach to product development.
  • Actively contribute to team and product success, managing issues of any size or complexity to keep projects on track and achieving goals.
  • Synthesize complex, sometimes ambiguous information into structured, actionable plans for execution.
  • Define, track, and analyze key performance metrics to guide informed product decisions and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to fostering a robust and collaborative product culture across Rippling’s fast-growing organization.

What you'll need:

  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management, with a track record of success in high-growth or technology-driven environments.
  • Proven ability as a self-starter with a strong bias toward action and results.
  • Demonstrated capacity to excel in fast-paced settings, managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Experience leading a product from concept through successful launch.
  • Deep commitment to understanding and addressing customer needs through innovative product solutions.
  • Skilled at motivating and inspiring teams to reach their highest potential.
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset, with strengths in prioritization and problem-solving.
