Description

The Construction Safety Manager will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing and managing all aspects of construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control
  • Coordinating and supervising subcontractors and other workers on the job site
  • Ensuring that all work is done in compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and other requirements
  • Reviewing project plans and specifications to ensure that they are accurate and complete
  • Working with project managers to develop project schedules and budgets
  • Maintaining accurate records of project progress, including daily logs and reports
  • Communicating regularly with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
  • Identifying and addressing issues and problems that arise during construction
  • Ensuring that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Conducting site inspections and safety audits to ensure that the job site is safe and secure

Profile

The right Construction Superintendent will have:

  • 4+ years of experience as a Superintendent with a GC
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Building Construction Technology, or related field preferred
  • Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate multiple projects
  • Strong literacy of MS Word, Excel and Procore
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • OSHA 30
