Location Profile:Located in North Hollywood, CA, AvibankManufacturing, Inc.,a PCC Company, a part of the EngineeredProducts Group, is among the world's leading manufacturers specializing in the design and production of sophisticated fasteners and multi-component fastening systems and devices, solving difficult engineering and critical performance problems.Position Summary:Building upon level one, with minimal assistance level two machinists operate 2-5 axis CNC/Automated machine cells as well as standalone machines, which requires basic machine setup including preparing and setting up fixtures and cutting tools, as well as loading and adjusting CNC programs and offsets. Level two machinist competencies include the ability to use more advanced quality inspection tools and techniques such as height and air gauges and bench inspection. The level two machinist will have basic competencies in print reading and common CNC G and M codes. Typically, 2-4 years of experience.Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC Mills, Lathes, or Swiss/ Star Machines
- Ability to operate 2-3 CNC Mills, Lathes, or Swiss/Star Machines
- Inspects produced components per blueprint using standard inspection techniques
- Loads/unloads parts in provided work holding method per setup
- Replaces broken cutting tools/inserts as needed
- Deburr parts as required
- Completes work order documentation in accordance with AS9100 quality standards
- Light Maintenance Duty of equipment
- Keeps work center clean and free of debrisRequired Skills:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $23.00 to $38.25 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company's Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company's bonus multiple, based on the Company's performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 80 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays.
