*Pay: $19 - 21 per hour*

*Responsibilities of the Certified Nursing Assistant:*

· 1:1 care to students in a classroom setting

· Providing patients with personal hygiene assisting with travel to the bathroom.

· Assisting with activities of daily living by serving meals, providing freshwater, and nourishment between meals.

· Maintains patient stability by checking vital signs and weight.

*Qualifications of the Certified Nursing Assistant*

· Ability to communicate with patients and nursing staff.

· One-year prior experience as a nursing assistant preferred

· Pediatric experience required

*Educational Requirements of the Certified Nursing Assistant*

· Successful completion of State Approved Nursing Assistant Training and Competency Evaluation Program.

· Good standing in the state registry is required.

· Ability to pass fingerprinting and criminal background screening.

· Current CPR from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.

*Other Requirements of the Certified Nursing Assistant*

· Ability to pass fingerprinting and criminal background screening.

· Current Unencumbered C.N.A. NYS license required
