Supplemental Health Care is working with a correctional facility in Burkeville, Virginia to hire Family Medicine (formerly Family Practice) Nurse Practitioners. Family Medicine (formerly Family Practice) Nurse Practitioner Contract Details:

  • $3,100 - $3,266 per week
  • 13-week contract with possibility of extension
  • Will provide care within their scope of practice and in accordance with the standards of the facility
  • Estimated weekly payment may include both taxable wages and tax-free reimbursements for meals, housing, and incidentals. Please speak with a recruiter for details.

Requirements:

  • Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in Virginia
  • BLS
  • DEA
  • Experience: 1 year of recent relevant experience
  • Board Certified/ Board Eligible
  • Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and facility personnel
  • Corrections experience preferred

Supplemental Health Care will consider for employment qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with the requirements of applicable local, state, or federal law (including San Francisco Ordinance , Los Angeles Municipal Code 189.00, the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers and the California Fair Chance Act).
