Position Overview:

As a Construction Manager, you will be responsible for managing multiple production home sites, ensuring that each project is completed on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards. You’ll work closely with subcontractors, suppliers, and the project management team, making sure every home meets safety regulations and exceeds customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of on-site construction processes, including scheduling, budgeting, quality control, and safety compliance.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure materials and labor meet project timelines and quality standards.
  • Perform site inspections regularly to assess work quality and ensure adherence to building codes and company standards.
  • Resolve any project-related issues that may arise, from permitting challenges to unexpected delays.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety protocols, creating a safe environment for all team members on-site.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and the internal team.
  • Track project progress and prepare reports to provide project status updates to senior management.
  • Mentor and supervise field staff, providing training and support as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in residential/multi family construction, with a focus on production homes preferred but candidates with commercial experience will also be considered.
  • Strong knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and construction methods.
  • Proven experience managing multiple construction projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • OSHA certification and familiarity with construction safety standards.
