*The role you’ll contribute:*

Performs computerized tomographic procedures for the diagnosis of disease and injury according to protocols established by radiologists.

*The value you’ll bring to the team:*
* Prepares and positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
* Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
* Observes patient during procedure and reports abnormal activity. Monitors protocols and recommends updates or refinements as warranted.
* Follows radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
* Assists in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly department to include procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, film storage area and any other areas in department.

*Qualifications - External*

*The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:*
* Graduate of a 2-year allied health program preferred.
* BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
* Radiology Technician credentialed from the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
* Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required
* Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) preferred.
* CT experience preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $34.00 - $52.00 per hour
