As part of this expansion in the US, XNRGY is seeking a qualified Quality Manager to join its team located in our brand-new facility in Mesa – Arizona.

Reporting to the Site Leader and functionally reporting to the Quality Director, the Quality Manager will lead our quality assurance and quality control initiatives related to the Mesa manufacturing site. This strategic role involves overseeing the implementation and improvement of quality standards, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across all manufacturing processes.

An overview of your responsibilities:

  • Understand customer needs and requirements to develop and maintain effective quality control processes.
  • Lead and mentor the quality assurance team, promoting professional development and a culture of quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and supply chain, to enhance product quality and reliability.
  • Supervise inspectors, technicians and other staff and provide guidance and feedback.
  • Conduct and oversee quality processes, procedures, audits, etc. to ensure conformance of Mesa manufacturing site.
  • Recommend improvements in products, processes, services, or procedures to drive continuous improvement.
  • Review issues with engineering, sales, and manufacturing, examining equipment or design claimed to be defective, and participate in continuous improvement.
  • Implement and improve the site quality management strategy in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure site quality performance and improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations, including ISO 9001 and other applicable HVAC standards.
  • Coordinate audits and inspections to assess compliance and address any non-conformance issues.
  • Oversee the quality assurance and quality control processes throughout the manufacturing cycle.
  • Develop and maintain inspection and testing protocols for incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
  • Implement and promote continuous improvement initiatives, such as Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Analyze quality data and feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with customer service and sales teams to address customer complaints and feedback related to product quality.
  • Develop customer satisfaction metrics and strategies to enhance customer trust in our products.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of quality processes, procedures, and results.
  • Prepare and present quality reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

What you'll need, among other things

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management within the manufacturing sector, preferably in HVAC.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven experience in leading quality teams and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem solving - Ability to find a solution for or to deal proactively with work-related problems.
  • Customer oriented - Ability to take care of the customers’ needs while following company's procedures.
