Work EnvironmentThis role operates within a fully remote setting, granting counselors the flexibility to connect with clients from a comfortable location of their choice. While primarily remote, interaction with team members and healthcare providers is facilitated through regular virtual meetings and a shared digital workspace, ensuring collaboration and support amongst staff. Our outpatient practice fosters a safe and welcoming culture, which significantly contributes to the overall atmosphere of healing.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe Licensed Professional Counselor will take on a range of responsibilities designed to enhance client outcomes and ensure continuity of care. Duties will include:

Managing a caseload of clients, fostering strong relationships while upholding professional ethics and boundaries.

Conducting regular sessions to assess progress, stability, and readiness for discharge, ensuring clients remain informed and engaged in their treatment journey.

Developing, implementing, and continuously monitoring personalized treatment plans that are centered around each client’s specific needs and circumstances.

Maintaining up-to-date documentation, including progress notes and treatment summaries, to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and facilitate effective communication.

Conducting thorough intake assessments to gather essential background information, setting the stage for tailored therapeutic interventions.

Engaging in individual supervision sessions to reflect on clinical practice and enhance professional development.

Collaborating effectively with other healthcare providers, utilizing an integrated care approach that supports holistic treatment.

Our practice caters to a varied outpatient population, including adults, children, and families, each presenting a unique set of challenges and backgrounds. LPCs at Inner Balance Innovations engage clients facing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma recovery, and life transitions, among other mental health concerns. The therapist’s role is pivotal in crafting effective treatment strategies that foster a supportive atmosphere conducive to healing and growth.
QualificationsThe ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.

A current, unrestricted, and active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential.

At least one year of direct clinical experience in an outpatient mental health setting post-graduation.

Proficiency in utilizing computer systems and software, including Excel, RMS systems, Outlook, and Pimsy, for documentation and case management.
While not mandatory, candidates with the following experiences will be at an advantage:
