Major teams within CBS include Finance, Information Technology, Human Resources, Enterprise Support Services, Brand Marketing and Communications, Business Development, Knowledge, and Ethics & Compliance.
The Ethics & Compliance function helps protect EY from risks that arise from its professional practice. Ethics & Compliance teams provide coordinated advice and assistance on regulatory and risk management issues, as well as providing management and oversight regarding the organization’s ethics.
Job Summary:
As a Data Team Supervising Associate, you will support and enhance the firm’s overall Ethics & Compliance program efforts through:
- Identification and execution of continuous improvement efforts with the creation and maintenance of data-driven reports, and assessment of data and trends.
- Support of firm leadership and leaders across the Ethics & Compliance program teams in identifying possible regulatory non-compliance or ethics-related risks within the business.
- Oversight of the Ethics & Compliance Program for alignment with the framework to help foster a culture of integrity and accountability and mitigate regulatory and legal risks.
You'll work independently, with periodic feedback.
Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the refresh, maintenance and access to all Ethics & Compliance program dashboards, which reside across multiple Power BI workspaces.
- Review, digest and synthesize testing results across multiple programs to provide a holistic summary to leadership.
- Analyze the resulting information and reports to extract actionable insights and drive strategy in embedding ethics and compliance into the rhythm of business with personal accountability aligned to a shared vision.
- Operate as a business partner to leaders to help leverage data from monitoring and investigations to improve the programs and identify targeted areas of focus.
- Using structured problem-solving processes, determine root cause(s) of problems that arise and implement countermeasures to prevent problem recurrence.
- Recommend ways to improve process(es) and/or develop new approaches, calling on your ethics, compliance, and business experience.
- Familiarize yourself with master data associated within the Ethics & Compliance program to identify outliers or trends that require the firm’s response.
- Establish and implement project plans, including goals and measures. Follow up on all approved changes and enhancements to the process(es).

Skills and attributes for success:
- Ability to think outside of the box and learn new approaches to modeling business problems with a focus on the practical application of the results.
- High degree of personal ownership and accountability, with the ability to prioritize workload and deliver credible outputs within strict deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Proficient technical abilities and the use of analytical and project management methodology to execute projects.
- Understand the need for change initiatives and act as a positive advocate for necessary changes as it relates to the process.
- Analytical approach to evaluate existing processes to offer innovative ideas for improvement and allow for operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Highly effective communication and presentation skills.
