Envision Physician Services is seeking a full-time OB/GYN Medical Director for a physician-led Hospitalist program with Norton Women's and Children's Hospital in Louisville, KY. Opportunity Highlights:

* Full-time leadership position with amazing annual stipend
* Clinical hours: only (6) 24-hour shifts per month minimum

Opportunity Details:

* Full-time
* Annual deliveries: 5,000

* Envision OBGYN Hospitalists cover less than 10%

* 44-bed Level III neonatal intensive care unit
* Strong sub-specialty support including MFM, anesthesia, neonatology, GYN/ONC and URO/GYN
* The hospital offers general and high-risk obstetric and gynecologic care, as well as a surgical unit with private rooms and specialized nursing care just for women

Responsibilities of Medical Director include :

* Delivery room
* Triage
* Full-spectrum OBGYN Hospitalist work
* Physician schedules
* Ensure safe, quality patient care for physician team
* Liaison between hospital and Envision
* Attend meetings as necessary

Norton Women s & Children s Hospital is a full-service, 373-bed community hospital offering inpatient and outpatient medical/surgical care, full diagnostic services and 24-hour emergency care for adults and children. The hospital specializes in comprehensive cancer prevention, detection and treatment; orthopedics and bone health; pelvic health services; migraine treatment; breast health diagnostics; and surgical weight loss services.
For children, the hospital offers pediatric surgery, inpatient care including a Level III neonatal intensive care unit, sleep center, rehabilitation center and pediatric emergency services, plus specialized care for pediatric neurology, urology and gynecology patients. Through Norton Women s Care, the hospital offers general and high-risk obstetric and gynecologic care, as well as a surgical unit with private rooms and specialized nursing care just for women.
The hospital has been a primary provider of obstetrical services in Kentucky for a number of years, delivering more than 6,000 babies annually. Norton Women s & Children s has achieved Orthopedic & Spine Center of Excellence designation from DNV for knee and hip replacement, and shoulder and spine surgery. It also is designated by DNV as an Acute Stroke Ready Center, offering comprehensive stroke intervention.
Norton Women s & Children s Hospital also is designated by the Surgical Review Committee as a Center of Excellence in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, robotic surgery, surgical services and kidney stone management. It also is designated as an American College of Radiology Breast Imaging Center of Excellence.
