Job ID: 2758892 | Amazon.com Services LLC
Do you want to work hard, have fun, and make history? Do you think fast, dive deep, and get things done? Are you passionate about improving customer experience?
We are seeking a Principal Product Manager-Technical to join the Voice of Customer (VOC) team within the Worldwide Customer Service (CS) organization. We are a cross-functional product, program, science, and engineering team who own a suite of world-class products, tools, and services focused on delivering real-time customer sentiment, feedback, and insights to a vast array of teams and leaders across Amazon.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving the vision and product roadmap for Amazon’s flagship suite of VOC products, tools, and services. You will lead requirements gathering, prioritization of feature development, and own driving product metrics and business outcomes. You will partner closely with program managers, business leaders, and software engineers, as well as our data and research science teams to identify opportunities, develop strategies, and launch new products and features that deliver valuable customer insights and drive large-scale business impacts. You will be a trusted thought leader within a team that obsesses over the Worldwide CS experience and the applications and tools supporting their day-to-day interactions with customers.
You are expected to be able to work independently and with ambiguity in a complex, fast-paced, and high-throughput environment where multi-tasking is required. This position has a high degree of visibility to senior executive leaders across Amazon, so you will need to be able to communicate clearly and compellingly at all levels and to both technical and non-technical audiences. You should have a positive attitude, collaborative work style, and strong work ethic; you will work fast and smart, and adapt and iterate quickly.
- Define and drive the multi-year vision for the VOC product portfolio.
- Work cross-functionally to manage bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, balance the business needs versus technical constraints, and maximize business benefit while building great customer experiences.
- Measure and analyze existing products for opportunities to innovate and improve.
- Deliver long-lasting foundational systematic solutions that pave the way for effective use of AI/Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Work with leaders across science, tech, product/program management, corporate and operations to identify and manage new and existing opportunities, initiatives and processes.
- Deliver 3 Year Plan, Vision, PRFAQS, and Business Requirement (BRD) Docs.
- Define clear goals and objectives for the business in the planning and execution space while identifying risks and strategizing mitigation plans.
- Assess product development efforts, including research, requirements definition, metrics analysis, technical specifications, development, and launch efforts.
- Influence senior leaders across Amazon and communicate Amazon CS' AI/ML vision, strategy, goals, status, and customer impact.
A day in the life
On a daily basis, in addition to working with teams within CS and VOC, you'll have a chance to work across the many teams, functions, and business verticals that contribute to Amazon’s growth. You will work closely with senior leaders across Amazon to drive collaboration and influence them to prioritize projects, meet objectives and adhere to business plans towards shared objectives. You will be responsible for key workstreams including product strategy and delivery (PRFAQs, BRDs), stakeholder updates, monthly roadmap reviews, business reviews and organizational goal setting.
If you are not sure that every qualification on the list above describes you exactly, we'd still love to hear from you At Amazon, we value people with unique backgrounds, experiences, and skillsets. If you’re passionate about this role and want to make an impact on a global scale, please apply
