Shift: 8:00 PM - 8:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of role experience is required.

• 60 months of Post Anesthesia Care Unit experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Maine license or compact license in hand at the time of application.

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Candidates must live at least 90 miles away from this facility in order to be considered a traveler when applying for this role.

• COVID vaccination required for onboarding. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required for onboarding. Medical declinations accepted.

Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.

Additional Details:

Would accept 48 h or 36 h position- For this position 48hrs GHR preferred but 36GHR acceptable.

Post Anesthesia RNs will be providing care to patients who have received anesthesia. PACU RNs will be proficient in caring for high acuity and critically ill patients.

RN may be asked to float to other perioperative PACU settings in the hospital.

Equipment: Abbot Pumps, CAD pumps, Venodynes, Philips monitors,

Must Have Skills/Experience: Post Anesthesia care experience, Phase 2 experience, ICU background

Preferred Skillset/Experience: level 1 trauma center experience

Type of Patients on Unit: Post Anesthesia patients, critical care

Scrub Color: Green or blue provided. Can wear personal scrubs

Any unacceptable attire: Healthcare professional attire (Scrubs)

1 reference from last 24 months (Manager/Supervisor reference type)1 reference from last 24 months (Charge/Lead reference type)

Proof of driver’s license required to apply

Certifications:

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
