Pride Health is hiring for a Medical Assistant to support our client’s medical facility based in Boston, MA 02114. This is a 13-week temp-to-perm opportunity and a great way to join a top-tier healthcare organization
Job Details:
- Ensure efficient patient flow while maintaining the highest level of patient care, safety, and satisfaction.
- Assist in patient care by rooming patients, taking vitals, performing EKGs, and recording patient information in EPIC.
- Manage the clinical workflow and communicate effectively with both front desk staff and providers.
- Maintain and clean exam rooms and clinical equipment, ensuring areas are properly stocked and calibrated.
- Perform phlebotomy, transport patients as needed, and cover other areas of Cardiology during staff shortages.
- Promote patient and provider satisfaction by maintaining a professional, courteous demeanor.
Qualifications:
- Education & Licensing/Credentialing:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program required.
- MA Certification and BLS Certification required.
- EKG Certification required; Certified Medical Assistant through AAMA preferred.
- Years of Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Medical Assistant with strong phlebotomy skills.
- Expertise, Knowledge, and Skills Required:
- Proficiency in EPIC and performing EKGs.
- Excellent interpersonal communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Flexibility, teamwork, and a strong desire to improve processes in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

- Schedule: Days / 5x8 Hours / 40 Hours per week
- Pay Range: $23 - $26 per hour
*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
