Silver Cross Hospital and Allied Anesthesia Associates are seeking a Board Certified Anesthesiologist to add to their practice of 13 MD's and over 20 CRNA's
Job Description:
* Turnover rate - very low
* General structure of the team - MD/CRNA care model
* Open for full-time permanent positions with weekend coverage
* Shift times are variable with a potential for call
* How often is the weekend schedule? The call is 24 hours and there is an incentive attached to it. Approximately 2-3 calls a month.
* Spinals and epidurals can be done by CRNAs, all nerve blocks are done by MDs.
* Pre-ops are mostly done by the MDs unless it s a MAC case where the CRNAs can do it.
* Trauma level II
* 10 ORs
* Patient age demographic: pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric
* Required procedures: General surgical cases, IV regional anesthesia, spinal anesthesia, epidural anesthesia, regional anesthesia, OB cases, neurosurgical cases
* EMR: Cerner
* Open to new graduates
* Not accepting visa candidates
* Not accepting Locums candidates

* Board Certified in Anesthesiology
* IL license (or willing to obtain)
* DEA Verbal Confirmation and CSR (or willing to obtain)
* BLS, ACLS, and PALS (or willing to obtain)
