Job Summary and QualificationsThe Outpatient Surgery Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department, and consistent with the scope and standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. In collaboration with medical providers and other members of the care team, the RN provides individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care using established nursing models such as “Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.” The RN serves as an advocate for patients/families/caregivers and models a commitment to the organization’s vision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance.
What qualifications you will need:RN Diploma, Associate’s Degree in Nursing OR Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation.(if multistate license must change primary state of residence within 90 days) OR Currently Licensed as an advanced practice registered nurse in the state(s) of practice
1+ year of relevant nursing experience required
