Volt is immediately hiring for experienced Forklift Operators in Desoto, Texas.
As a Forklift Operators you will:
  • Operate cherry pickers, stand up reach and sit down forklifts
  • Provide parts support to the overhaul of turbine engines and related equipment.
  • Ensure material is properly stored and pulled from correct inventory location with special attention to overall inventory accuracy.
  • Move and package parts necessary to support overhaul production.

This is a full time opportunity. We are hiring for the following shifts: Monday – Friday (1st shift): 5am – 1:30 pm and 3rd shift Sunday - Thursday 10pm - 5:30am. 2nd/3rd shift must train on 1st shift for 1 week. Lots of overtime available. Must be able to work some weekends if needed for overtime. Positions are long term temp to hire.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Hands on forklift operating experience ( cherry picker and stand up reach and sit down )
  • Proven job stability
  • Basic computer skills familiarization.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Can-do attitude.
  • Ability to pass 7 year criminal background and drug screen

Pay Rate: $16-20/hr
** Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
