Sodexo has an outstanding opportunity for a Full-Time Registered Dietetic Technician to come to join their dynamic team and Clinical Nutrition program at UT Health Tyler in Tyler, TX. Representing the very best in healthcare, UT Health East Texas is comprised of 10 hospitals and more than 50 clinics across east Texas. With over 1,000 licensed in-patient beds, UT Health East Texas provides healthcare services to thousands of patients annually through our hospitals, clinics, Level 1 trauma facility, air emergency fleet and EMS service in a metropolitan service area of a quarter-million people.
Preferred Candidate will be a Registered Dietetic Technician, licensed in TX or be in progress of obtaining within the next 30 days.
Start with 3 weeks’ vacation and 3 personal days
Reimbursement for AND dues, state licensure fees and CDR renewal
Money toward continuing education events
Up to $5000 tuition reimbursement annually
The successful candidate will:
- Be a Registered Diet Technician, licensed in Texas
- Have experience utilizing the nutrition care process, electronic medical records charting and will be responsible for conducting nutrition care and patient assessments for patients with a variety of ages and disease states
- Be able to work well with physicians, nursing and ancillary staff and collaboratively as a part of a team, as well as independently and be outcome focused
- Have good time management skills, be a self-starter
- Engage in physician and multidisciplinary team rounding on patient care units;
- Participate in Performance Improvement and Patient Satisfaction projects;
- Demonstrate excellent communication, customer service and computer and time management skills;
- Thrive in a high energy and demanding environment and be flexible and able to adapt to a changing patient population
