Job Summary

* The Surgical Technician Apprentice will perform surgical technician and sterile processing duties while studying toward certification, within limits of current training and competency.
* The Surgical Technician Apprentice will assist other members of the health care team in the delivery of patient care during surgical procedures.

Education and/or Experience

* High school graduate or equivalent required.
* Previous healthcare experience is preferred.

Work Schedule

* Monday - Friday; 80 hours every 2 weeks

* Occasional weekend (by rotation)
* Occasional holiday (by rotation)
* Occasional call time (by rotation)
