DAY TO DAY AS A PHYSICAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT ( PTA )

As a Physical Therapist Assistant at Cornerstone VNA, you will have a diverse range of responsibilities that will keep you engaged and excited every day. From collecting client health data to working closely with patients and their families to set achievable goals, you will be an integral part of our collaborative healthcare team. Your role will involve developing and modifying patient care plans in coordination with physicians and other healthcare professionals, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care. REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS PHYSICAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT ( PTA ) JOB

To be successful as a Physical Therapist Assistant at Cornerstone VNA, certain skills and abilities are essential. First and foremost, you must have a strong understanding of physical therapy principles and techniques, along with the ability to apply them effectively. Attention to detail is crucial in accurately collecting and documenting client health data.

Additionally, excellent communication and interpersonal skills are vital in working closely with patients and their families to set goals and provide support. In terms of technical skills, proficiency in using various software and tools is necessary for this role. Familiarity with electronic medical record systems and other healthcare software will help streamline documentation and enhance efficiency.
