Competitive pay
Typically an adult recare is 50-60 minutes, new patient is 70-90, scaling and root planning is 70-90. Our hygienists are really in control of it as long as they stay within those parameters.
Our office manager is a hygienist so she really prides herself on our hygiene department

Dr. Herock is a life-long resident of Hampton Township. After completing his education and subsequent residency in New Jersey, he moved back home in 1992 to establish his own dental practice. His primary goal was to provide quality dental care while working closely with the major insurance carriers in the Pittsburgh market. His start up practice, which began with servicing family and friends, has treated over 13,000 patients since its inception.

Minimum Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in Pennsylvania and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
Preferred Experience
- 0 years of clinical experience
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
- Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
- Clinical needs as required by office
Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
