  6. Ensure each field apprentice employee is clocking in & each employee reporting to their assigned position.
  7. Adhere to all established safety standards and procedures to protect employees and the Company.
  8. Conduct weekly safety meetings.
  9. Ensure that each job assigned is completed with an accident-free record.
  10. Generate high quality work in alliance with the vision and mission of Powerfull Electric.
  11. Work to establish, adjust, and maintain work sequences to meet the construction schedule for a given project.
  12. Organize and coordinate all of the project materials and equipment.
  13. Read and interpret specifications, contract documents, plans, and prepare sketches of proposed work as well as producing layout drawings and code calculations for projects.
  14. Analyze and quickly resolve any work problems that may arise and ensure that all deficiencies on any given project are corrected in a timely manner.
  15. Lead by example—set, monitor, and enforce the standards of safety, and exemplary quality of work set forth by Powerfull Electric.
  16. Conduct quality control inspections on project sites.
  17. Coordinate with all other trades working on a job site to ensure smooth transitions.
  18. Seek out opportunities to improve methods, processes, and procedures to benefit the company.
  19. Submit work or activity reports according to Company policy.
  20. Notify Project Manager or Chief Operations Officer immediately of safety issues, schedule changes, absenteeism, or other problems as they arise.
  21. Check delivered (or loaded) material and supplies for quantity and type before accepting it for use on a job.
  22. Maintain good, business-like relations with other trades, suppliers, and clients.
  23. Adhere to and enforce Company policies with regard to ethics, conduct, and appearance.
  24. Complete all Employee Performance Evaluations for positions reporting to this position in accordance with company policy and in an accurate and timely manner.
  25. Perform all other tasks assigned by the President or, in the President’s absence, by the Chief Operations Officer, or Project Manager.
  26. When applicable, train new employees.
  27. Have a clear understanding of the latest edition of the NEC.

Qualifications:

  1. Demonstrates understanding and enthusiastic agreement with the vision and mission of Powerfull Electric.
  2. Minimum of four (4) years of experience as a journeyman in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures using blueprints, schematics, and sketches.
  3. Experience using hand tools, small power tools, shop machines, and heavy equipment.
  4. Experience inspecting installation sites.
  5. Experience studying work orders, building plans, and installation manuals in order to determine materials requirements and installation procedures.
  6. Experience reading contract drawings.
  7. Experience installing and mounting electronic controls, device panels, sensors, and components.
  8. Experience installing, assembling, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring, conduit, wiring, cable, equipment, components, and devices associated with electrical equipment following drawings of electrical layouts and building plans.
  9. Ability to perform interlock wiring as required.
  10. Experience testing electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using testing devices.
  11. Ability to appropriately diagnose malfunctions in systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of breakdown and take appropriate steps to correct the problem.
  12. Ability to instruct and train workers to install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
  13. Have a clear understanding of the latest edition of the NEC.
  14. Pass a background check, including drug test.
