Qualifications:

* Required Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited school
* License: Meets the criteria to be eligible for licensure in state of Missouri or currently licensed in the state of Missouri
* Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association

Who We Are:

* 25 bed unit
* Specializing in Neurosurgery, Spinal Surgery, & ENT
* Our Neurosurgical team provides compassionate care to a unique and rewarding patient population. We are highly skilled in providing healing care to patients with neurological conditions such as spinal cord surgeries, brain surgeries, lumbar drains and neck dissections, and more.
* We utilize a skill mix of RNs, LPNs & PCAs on our unit. Our nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5 (5 for both day & night shifts,) while our tech-to-patient ratio is 1:8 for days & 1:12 for nights. The Neurosurgical team works closely with our physician groups to ensure we are providing the best & most compassionate care to our patients.

* We are confident our Neurosurgical unit will provide a great foundation for someone looking to gain nursing experience in a Med Surg unit, as well as someone looking to provide care to a very specialized patient population.
