The Medical Surgical Renal Supervisor will report to the Med Surg Renal Department Manager and will assist in the leadership and management of the unit. Working alongside a tenured team of nurses, Nephrology, Surgery, and Internal Medicine Physicians, as well as dieticians, physicial therapists, social workers, and other support staff. 

The Medical Surgical Renal Supervisor will help maintain the operations and flow of the unit and take on leadership responsibilities in this busy fast paced department. The Med Surg Renal Unit offers a wide range of services including diagnostic testing, dialysis, medication management, patient assessments, surgery, rehabilitation, and more. 

Clinically, the Supervisor will serve as a mentor to the Medical Surgical Renal Nursing team and responsible for assisting the management of patient care delivery and clinical nursing practices in the unit. The Manager and Director of Medical Surgical are very clear that they’re looking for a strong leader who’s up for the challenge.
