As a Prime Video technologist, you’ll have end-to-end ownership of the product, user experience, design, and technology required to deliver state-of-the-art experiences for our customers. You’ll get to work on projects that are fast-paced, challenging, and varied. You’ll also be able to experiment with new possibilities, take risks, and collaborate with remarkable people.
We are seeking a talented and inventive Applied Scientist to join the Prime Video Partner Experience team. You will be a pioneer in implementing the cutting-edge ML and Generative AI techniques to the world of Entertainment. Your ability to innovate will unlock new levels of creativity for our content creation partners, optimize business functions, and impact the experience and efficiency of our 3p partners around the world to delight Prime Video customers.
Key Job ResponsibilitiesYou will work at the intersection of Science and Engineering and push the boundaries of ML and Generative AI techniques in developing capabilities that delight and motivate our content creation partners to serve their content through Prime Video. The systems you develop will amplify customer acquisition, enhance customer engagement, and optimize Prime Video's business functions and digital supply chain.
About the TeamWe are the Partner Experience organization in Prime Video, responsible for building cutting-edge systems and experiences that enable best-in-class content management, monetization, and analytics for tens of thousands of Prime Video’s 3p partners (Hollywood Studios, Media Houses, Post-production houses, content creators).
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 3+ years of building machine learning models for business application experience
- PhD, or Master's degree and 6+ years of applied research experience
- Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language
- Experience with neural deep learning methods and machine learning
- Experience with modeling tools such as R, scikit-learn, Spark MLLib, MxNet, Tensorflow, numpy, scipy etc.
- Experience with large scale distributed systems such as Hadoop, Spark etc.
